Norristown Area CTC Receives $125,000 Drug Free Communities Grant

Norristown CTC Offers RAMP Trainings for Local Liquor Licensees
NORRISTOWN, PA, August 17, 2009 — Norristown Area CTC has received a grant to tackle the issue of underage drinking in Norristown. In keeping with this effort, CTC reached out to area liquor licensees to help them deny youth access to alcohol by sponsoring a series of free Responsible Alcohol Management Program (RAMP) trainings aimed at helping liquor licensees identify underage individuals. CTC sponsored two of these trainings in June 2009, and three local establishments, Uptown Roos’ House Tavern, George N. Althouse Memorial American Legion Post 39 and Collette’s Tavern, participated.
